Plugin scan notification - solved

When the plugin scan completes it displays a notification saying how many new plugs have been found, etc. It persists for a few seconds then disappears. But does anybody know if Sonar creates a log file from the scan. When I miss the notification (nearly always) I'd like to be able to look at the log-file to see what has changed. Even better to be able to see the detail of the changes. Hard to imagine that this is not available, but, if so, can anybody help me to find it?

Toast messages are not logged. A scan log may be created by holding the SHIFT key while clicking the Scan button.

Sorry to be a pest, Steve, but the scan starts and completes when I shift-click "Scan VST Plug-ins" in Plug-in Manager, but it makes no reference to a log and I can't find it in any of the folders that I thought of looking ...

Try using the scan button in Preferences > File > VST settings.

Many thanks - that works and it tells me exactly where to find it.
