That was really good! I thought maybe things were panned a little woo wide, but I'm sure other people will disagree. (Most of the songs I here at this website seemed panned awfully wide to me.) I like that you aren't afraid to mix synth sounds with traditional symphonic sounds too. Michael Boddicker used to do this kind of thing years ago.

hey Jerry, here's a sort-of play-by-play of my thoughts while listening

00:15 - SUPER cool use of different textures, the synth stuff adds to the build VERY nicely. Reminds me of something from a video game score.
01:14 - digging the start of that new melodical tidbit and how you expand on it
01:51 - your chords and sound choice make me thing "Arabian nights" from Aladdin :)
02:30 MAN, such excellent use of those synth sounds!!
03:00 - the use of brass is AWESOME! That heavy low brass theme makes me think of so many games and films
03:45 - hihat sounds a bit too far forward in the mix
05:19 - that piano line is to die for :)
06:41 - OOOH that lush chord with tremolo strings... LOVE it!
07:30 - nice way bringing in that new theme
07:45 - even better bringing in THAT new theme!
08:07 - reminds me so much of an animated film.
10:45 - The way the synth is so directly fundamental to producing the mood changes is awesome
11:19 - The cymbals here could certainly have a bit better sound quality
12:00 - aaand original theme recurs!

Awesome piece! Most of my thoughts are transcribed up above. I could certainly hear it as a timed score written to a scene in an animated film or something. I ougta try something like this.

Mics: MXL 990, MXL R80, 2 x MXL Tempo XLRs, Cobalt Co9, SM48, iSK Starlight
    Cans: Hifiman HE4XX, AKG M220
Gear: Cakewalk BBL - PreSonus Firepod - Alesis Elevate 3 - Axiom 49
    DAW: Win10, AMD FX-8300, 16GB DDR3

Thanks for listing what you liked about this piece!  Most people like to list what they don't like.  Funny you mention animation a few times, I scored the Gumby TV series produced in the late 1980s, I was one of the first composers to score an entire animated TV series using MIDI (which I catch hell for because early samples and synths were not nearly as musical and sophisticated as they are today).  You can hear some here: www.jerrygerber.com/gumby.htm

    Best,
    Jerry
