SONAR returns 0.0BPM to plugin when the plugin fetches BPM.

Hello,
1.Add FX plugin to track.
2.Duplicate the track with FX.
3.SONAR returns 0.0BPM to duplicated FX plugin when the plugin fetches BPM.

Might help to mention what plugin your using.

Using Wave's H-Delay if you add it to a track it shows the project's BPM and does update as you change the BPM.  But if you right click on the track, choose clone track, check Clone Properties/Clone Effects/Clone Sends, the "cloned" version of H-Delay always shows 120bpm no matter what you set the project to, no matter how you fiddle it's settings.  It's like the plugin no longer has any access to the project's BPM.  I'm guessing it may be show 120 because 0 isn't really a valid number.

If you drag the plugin from the track with the ctrl key held down to "clone" the plugin, that clone works correctly.

I wasn't able to find anyway to get the cloned track's effect to actually work with the BPM again.  Which makes this a much bigger SONAR problem.

    Thank you for replay!

I find this problem when I coding & logging VST plugins.
I guess, H-Delay sets 120 to default value if it get 0 or out of capacity.
but It is bug in SONAR, so I hope it wil be fixed.

I'll admit I had a harder time finding an effect plugin that would report the BPM than I did reproducing this.

Just case anyone from Cakewalk does see this, this reproduces easily in SONAR Platinum 2017.06.

I confirm, that is a general problem. Reproducible f.e. with TH2/TH3 (bundled with Sonar).

I understand now why cloning tracks has several times produced strange results for me, thanks!

I just became aware of this reproducable bug as a reproducable bug. I always thought it was the vsts error.

Wondering how many tracks I've sent out into the world with out of time delays... I guess i would have noticed in most cases as I know I have fixed many., but when your creating you dont want to think about this stuff that should just work
