Converting WRK to MID

I hope I am in the correct forum and hoping even more someone can help. I have an older WKR file that I'd like to get converted to MID.  I have my older Sonar but can't get it to recognize the WKR file. Reminds me of the old Master Tracks days.  Anyone care to help me out?
 
I can email the file or upload to this message if it's allowed.

    What size has the wrk file ? Could it be it points to audio components ?
    Normally Sonar opens wrk files. I had a problem with one a while ago, but i found it referenced a audio file.
     
    If it is only one file, I can take a look in it.

    Thanks for your reply. I've tried everything I know to convert to midi. As far as I know, there was no audio, just midi data. The file is 34k. I don't see a way to attach a file here (using my phone) I will try to send it in a pm to and I do appreciate your effort to help.
