Zoom on track view has become unusable

And another one.
 
When I use the zoom right hand of the track view, it does not only zoom, but simultaniously scrolls down the track view to infinity.
 
This is like the worst update ever. Have you guys actually tested this, other than on your freaking MS Surface tablets?
