Lost and Found - New track

This is a (hopefully) catchy tune, heavily electronic but one that has some hooks.

I am still polishing but would love any feedback about ways to improve.

Thanks for listening!

Edit: Tried to address some of the vocal and EQ settings -- hopefully basically finished.

I think the effects on the lead vocal are smearing the lyrics a bit too much. It's a cool sound, and I think sounds good on the non-verbal singing, but I'd like the lead vocal to come through more clearly. This has a strong Howard Jones feel, though modernized.

The other thing that I wasn't crazy about was the way the song starts and stops so much. I was looking for a longer section of development that never came.

It's definitely worth development as it has a cool vibe overall.

Thanks Dan & Daryl.  I tweaked some of the vocal segments and overall tried to improve the mix levels.  I didn't want to back off the FX much because it is a comfort thing for my vox.  Hopefully this works for peeps.

Just had a listen to the last mix...    I liked it.   Smooth vibe with a nice electronic edge, and like Daryl said lots of ear candy.    While the lyrics aren't easy to pick out, I did like the vocal effect - I think it fits the feel.  And for some reason your voice reminded me a little of Daryl.

Your music always seems polished and professional to my ears.  I don't mind that your lyrics  aren't out front because your voice is like an instrument in this.  Like Dan, I was waiting for another movement to happen, but it held my interest anyway because it is hypnotic to a degree.  Keep up the good work!

    All the best,

Very nice comments, thanks Lynn and Steve.  Getting the vocals right is a constant struggle for me.  Lately I've been trying to emulate R I T U A L or the xx, and obviously I have a ways to go.  I appreciate the encouragement.

I'm not a fan of electronica, but I actually liked this, especially toward the middle.
