Another Synthmaster update
2.8.10 Resizeable UI, 70 new factory presets, various fixes (e.g. "add to favorites" now works!). Fix list is on Facebook. Go to User Area and log in. Make sure you download the update rather than the full product (which is at the top of the list), as it's much faster.
 All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to. My Stuff

Yet, I see a lot of peeps trying to unload this at KVR......not EDM enough?

I need to learn to program it, so far I have just tweaked the presets. The bigger sized GUI will be a help.

I love the new scalable UI. Great for my old eyes...now I can see what knob I'm turning! You can almost fill a HD 1920x1200 screen at 160%  And I just recently learned how to import my own wav files into the oscillator. It creates and saves a default sfz when you do that, and files it away in the menu under the SFZ Instruments for later use. So this make a killer hybrid synth when you pair up a classic VA sound with some sampled stuff, then run it through the filters!

I guess some prefer the simplicity (and wavetables) of the new Synthmaster One. Also, there's a Synthmaster 3.0 coming up with even more wavetables. Me, I just love those Nori Ubukata and BigTone patches in the bundle. Can't get better than that. Diva and Zebra, eat your heart out.

Nori is da man! Love his patches! And the upgrade to SM3 for regular folks will be like $30.

Yep, he is one of the great ones. Not to dis Synthmaster, but if Nori would take his Classic Synth pursuits to Diva, would that not be a marriage made in heaven? I would buy such a library in a millisecond without bothering to audition it first.

To my ears, the Diva sound is the closest to actual analogue that I have ever heard. I have had the demo for a while, and that is next on my wish list. But then I would have to get the NI S-Kontrol keys to go with NKS, LOL! There are some excellent 3rd party patches included in Diva, and quite a few that attempt to reproduce classic analog synth configurations. For example, in Fernando's hardware factory there is a recreation of Vangelis brass using a minimoog configuration, "MM Blade R Brass". Really nice! I agree that Nori could add a lot of value to this machine! I have his Historical Synth Giants vol 1-4.

camel's owner can go "muck" himself for his snidey underhand actions at doing over PC users. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew he was going to pull the rug on users within a year or 2. I think he was scuzzy for taking new orders like mine.. when I buy software, costing that much ... I *EXPECT* 5 years support. I'm fed up of people should have not been in the trade, doing such things.. got no time for mr superwave either.. who vanished for years, than re-appeared.

lol i was kinda late to the Alchemy party , but i bought everything at once , 2 years later : bim !!! apple ...lol ...
i had to put it on Quarantain in my head , but it's a shame cause it absoluttly rocks....
not like we don't have big one to replace it as Workstation , but there was a sound to it engine + presets styles ...thks guyz to remind me it lol :(
