help with roll back

hi everyone, the problem persists with my drums missing beats. i have changed the latency to 515, i have switched between the drivers from quad capture and ASIO4ALL, then i tried to roll back sonar to pre "latest enhancements and fixes".
according to the command center, the version i rolled back to is 2016.12 (22.12.0.12) however, the 30th anniversary  FX chain is still there.
this stuff started when i installed the updates. i want to put everything back to where it was.
i would appreciate any ideas. i can't get anything done with sonar running like this.
thanks so much

Each installer has its own rollback and uninstall options. The 30th anniversary  FX chains has a separate installer. It is not part of the SONAR installer. The about screen in SONAR shows you which version of SONAR is running.

thanks for getting back to me, yeah, that seems to be the case because when i rolled back to an earlier version of sonar the 30th-anniversary plugin is still there. what i did was, go to my 3ed party uninstaller and uninstalled it from there.
how i wish i could bring my computer to a thoroughly knowledgeable person who knows his/her way around computers and sonar and say "this is the problem, please fix it".
are there such people? i would be willing to be without this computer for a while (i have other computers to do all the other crap) to get this done. kind of like bringing an amp to someone who is expert in things other than the basic maintenance like bias etc.
anyway, thanks again. sometimes the frustration is unbearable.

me too, if i had any money i would be on a plane tonight. you are someone who answers many of my questions, i wonder if there could be a way for us to collaborate with this. what i mean is, i can have one computer talking to you with SKYPE so you can see exactly what's going on. this would be easy to do i think.

Well, Joey - it seems as if you are in the Chicago area - which is also where I happen to be (though about 50 miles out, in McHenry - as of this coming Tuesday - til then I am in Palatine - Northwest Side).

I cannot guarantee I could 'fix' anything for you, but would be happy to work with you on resolving your issues.

Shoot me a Private Message to coordinate, if you still are looking for some assistance.

Joey - I suggest you edit your prior post and remove your email address.  Far better to work with private messages if sharing such info.

Edited to alter my original comment - It is WAY too easy to look up info.
