I generally try to install all my VST libraries on a separate drive; in this case, D:\Camel Audio\Alchemy.
In addition to the subfolders I mentioned earlier, D:\Camel Audio\Alchemy also contains all the .aky keyfiles, as well as AlchemyLog.txt and MidiMap.txt.
I do also have C:\ProgramData\Camel Audio\Alchemy, which I assume was created automatically during the reinstall.
This folder contains AlchemyConfig.txt (which appears to contain several of the same entries and appears to be updated along with AlchemyLog.txt during any session changes) and what appears to be a proprietary Alchemy_Preset_Ratings_And_Tags file.
It appears that the LibraryPath referenced in the AlchemyConfig.txt and AlchemyLog.txt is a key entry to get Alchemy to see all the installed libraries.
BTW, I found the info below when I was digging around in the libraries -
Instructions from Camel Audio addressing the reinstallation procedures that were released prior to Camel going offline.
Converted to text so I could post it here. Hope this helps!

How do I Download and Backup My Products?
FAQs > Installation > How do I Download and Backup My Products?
Backing Up Your Desktop Plug-Ins and Sound Libraries
Until July 7th 2015, your Camel Audio purchases will continue to be available
for download from your account, either via the Camel Audio website, or via the
installer. After July 7th 2015, the files will no longer be accessible from our
site, and so you will need to have downloaded and backed up your files
beforehand, as well as the Camel Audio Installer application (linked below).
The following steps will back up copies of your desktop Sound Libraries and
Plugins.
We also recommend downloading both individual PC / Mac plugin installers (shown
in the screenshot), so that in the future if you change OS, you will still be
able to reinstall your plugin on your new system.
Take the following steps to backup your desktop Sound Libraries:
Run our installer application:
Mac:
http://www.camelaudio.com...AudioInstaller-Mac.zip Win:
http://www.camelaudio.com...AudioInstaller-Win.zip Go to the 'Preferences' tab and select 'Download Only'
Click 'Apply'
The installer will now show which .CamelSounds files are fully backed up in
the 'Download Path' directory. By default this directory is Downloads/Camel
Audio. Both plugin and sound library files will be downloaded as .CamelSounds
files.
Click 'Download' next to the libraries for which you want to download backups,
or 'Download All' to ensure your Download Path directory contains full back
ups of all your libraries.
Note: We recommend leaving the Download Path as the default location, as
downloading to a standard, internal hard drive location will minimise the risk
of connection or permissions issues. Once download is complete, the
.CamelSounds files aren't referenced by our plugins themselves, and so the
files can be moved to another location.
Installing using the Camel Audio Installer:
Run the Camel Audio Installer
Log in using your Camel Audio details
The installer will check which plugins and Sound Libraries are fully installed
on your system
Click 'Update' or 'Install' next to any which are detected as being
incomplete.
The installer will check the 'Download Path' in 'Preferences' for any
up-to-date CamelSounds files it can use, prior to downloading new copies.
Installation offline of backed up files:
After July 7th 2015, your plugins and Sound Libraries will no longer be
available online – the installer will consequently need to be run in Offline
Installation mode, hence you'll need to have downloaded and backed up all your
.CamelSounds files by then.
Make sure all your .CamelSounds files are stored in the location specified in
the 'Download Path' area of the Installer's Preferences. By default this is
Downloads/Camel Audio
Note: If you have any old copies of 'Alchemy-All-Presets.CamelSounds', remove
this file from the desktop or the download path – this file has been known to
occasionally conflict with the installer and is not required since the new
installer uses a separate presets file for each library.
Next, run the installer in offline installation mode.
The installer will check Downloads/Camel Audio (and also the desktop) for
any .CamelSounds files.
For each sound library you should have a Presets and a Samples .CamelSounds
file, and for each plugin a .CamelSounds file too.
If you use a custom location for VST plugins (Windows only), or for the
'Alchemy' data folder, you can set these directories in the 'Preferences' tab
of the installer.
Click 'Install' next to those libraries you want to install or 'Install All'
to install all your licenses.
Installing your samples and presets to an alternative location:
You may want to install your Alchemy data to an external location to save space
on your internal hard drive. To do this take the following steps – if you have
already installed and want to subsequently move the data folder to another
location, skip to step 4:
Go to 'Preferences' in the installer.
The Alchemy data path shown, refers to the location to which the 'Alchemy'
folder contain the presets and samples will be installed. By default, this is:
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Camel Audio/
Win: C:\ProgramData\Camel Audio\
You can change this location prior to or after installation.
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Camel Audio/
Win: C:\ProgramData\Camel Audio\
If you have already installed your Alchemy data to your internal hard drive,
you can change the Alchemy Data Path and select 'Apply'.
- A progress bar like the one below will show the 'Alchemy' folder being
moved to its new location by the installer.
To transfer your PC installation across to Mac or vice versa:
If you change operating system and want your Alchemy installation copied across,
do the following:
Copy your 'Alchemy' data folder from one machine to the other. By default
these are located here:
Mac: /Library/Application Support/Camel Audio
Win: C:\ProgramData\Camel Audio\
(or Start Menu -> All Programs -> Camel Audio -> Alchemy -> Alchemy Data)
Next, run the plugin installer for your new OS, downloadable from our site,
shown in the screenshot at the top of the page. This will download a file
called AlchemyWin-1-55-0.exe or AlchemyMac-1-55-0.pkg.
Run this file, directing it to your new data folder location when asked for a
location for data files.
It's very important to place the data folder where you want it and then direct
the plugin installer to the new data folder location. Moving the data folder
after installation, will result in problems with the shortcut to the Alchemy
data folder.
