I'm very happy you enjoyed my guitar tone and playing
thank you for the song listen and the kind word .
pcolangelo
Hi Kenny, the Twanger Central backing track idea is really cool! I'll be looking out for your #100! ;)
Hello pcolangelo ,
Yes those Twanger Central backing tracks can sure be a lot of fun to play some guitar over .
In my case every so often I may need to just kick back and play my way out of a creative rut or simply just get to playing my guitar ....
+ The guys over there seem to have a good round of fun mixed in with a healthy dose of fellowship.
I'm playing hooky right now ....I'm not sure what number weekly track I will jump back into ...
I'm real glad you did enjoy the one I did
thank you
daryl1968
The guitar tone and your playing is excellent as per usual.
Really nice Kenny
Hi Daryl .
What you have just said means a lot to me coming from a person of you musical caliber .
Thank you for saying that
Lynn
This ended far to soon, for me. I was just getting unwound when it was over, so I had to play it again. And, I'll play it yet, again and again. You see where I'm going here...
Hi Lynn,
Before music went " all digital " where folks could do it all at home , I used to do a lot of sessions for people in various stages of the music biz and song productions ...
I don't recall anyone ever asking me to Blaze through a 4 min guitar solo like some of the stuff I post here
All I did on this was I made believe that I was laying down a little guitar solo for an Artists song or demo ...
I'm very pleased I was able to play something you enjoyed and thought was worth a second listen
Thank you Lynn .
Wayfarer
Sounded like a Les Paul or 335. (To me they're the same guitar except one of them covers more of my belly fat!) I like both the playing and the tone. I thought your guitar could have been a bit louder. That rhythm guitar was stepping on you in some places.
Billy
Hi there Billy ,
Well , you are talking to a player that has a very long history of playing Gibson 335's . I have owned a played a number of them Vintage and new . The Gibson 335 is one of my all time favorite guitars of all time
I hope to get back to playing a Gibson 335 again one of these days
If anybody is listening I will gladly change my screen name from Telejazz to something much more appropriate .
I would also be very willing to be a very good boy to the point where I would and could become a model citizen around these parts if a Gibson 335 found it's way into my grimy calloused little paws ...
Sure I could have bumped up the lead guitar . I didn't because when I checked my mix in mono I liked where it is sitting right now ....
Having said that , I may as well mention the guitar I used on this musical clip .
All the guitar parts in my last 3 tunes have featured a Strat for just about everything except for my 8 string guitar ...
thank you for listening ,
Kenny
