Bounce to Clip ---- want to include automation lane (volume)

I am bouncing down some clips to get ready to send for mixing.  I had done some automation on a vocal track, but when I bounce it, the automation is not bounced.  Is there an easy way to make this happen that I am missing?

Thanks!

peter.

What procedure are you using?
Just tested "Bounce to Clip" on an automated track, and the automation remained on the track.
Give more detail on your exact procedure steps.

Hi, and welcome to this forum. You need to use "Bounce to Track" to include automation.
All the best.

Bounce to clips renders gain automation only. possibly you are confusing it with bounce to tracks.
Its an easy mistake. Bounce to clips is for healing/rendering slip data, clip data together. not for rendering automation or FX.

You are best off using bounce to tracks. if you have multiple tracks, use the export function.

that's why clip gain is included because with bounce to clips your focusing on the raw data.

Chuck is right about this.....my test had volume automation only.

Cool, that is exactly what I needed.  I was doing Bounce to Clip and was not aware of the Bounce to Track, which will be very useful.

Thanks for the help!

You mean gain automation
Volume automation is not included in Bounce to clips, just gain automation.
