Has phone support for SONAR been discontinued?

perhaps someone can help me .
I want to be able to record/edit/move files between two installations of Platinum, so I can mix in two environments.
Install 1 uses M-Audio 4X4
Install 2 uses M-Audio  2X2
Both work independently, both set to 44K, same bit rate .
I cant import/open a song from 1 to 2 ... get a message 'hardware not setup, contact support'.
any advice???

    You should start a new thread for this.

    Splat, Win 10 64bit and all sorts of musical odds and sods collected over the years, but still missing a lot of my old analogue stuff I sold off years ago.

    Sonar only accept 1 Audio device/with its drivers at a time

    This is not normal. I regularly transfer files back and forth between 2 or 3 different installations (and different interfaces), without getting any error messages.
