Low Signal Noise Generated from Adaptive Limiter? [SOLVED]

The signal is measuring up to 82.7 dB.
 
I know that won't hurt anybody but it's something and it's there so I'm just putting it out there.

    The plugin is not generating noise, it's just amplifying what's already there. I just had a look to be sure, and verified that with no input AL's dead silent.


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Correct. Apparently, the white noise was coming from Tone2's biFilter 2 plugin on another bus.
     
    That means I'll be looking for another filter VST soon!
