Drum track arrangement tip

Hi,
I'm a bit of a novice at Sonar but worked out a way to make a drum arrangement which may help others with little midi experience like myself. I have a Yamaha Tyros 2 keyboard, which I connect through by midi lead to an Edirol UA-25EX audio interface linked to Sonar Professional. I make a drum track in Sonar using Addictive Drums 2. Then, using the ? to access midi map on the AD2 screen I change the drum map from AD2 to general midi. I then set the drum track in Sonar to record and play a drum style on my Tyros keyboard using intro, breaks, fills and outro in one take. When I play back the drum track in Sonar it is identical to the Tyros arrangement but plays back using AD2 drum sounds.

I find this a very quick way to make a drum arrangement and thought it may help others with arrangement keyboards if they haven't already tried it.

Cheers
