Selecting area between markers

Without having to manually enter the punch in/out timeline values, how does one select the punch in/out values between the markers I set for puch in recording? I know to drag with the select tool for a region to highlight, but the markers I set are a more accurate reference.

Using the smart tool, Hover your mouse over the timeline until it turns into a little magnifying glass. Then Left click in the timeline between the markers.
