Oh... and The Fall is pretty good. I checked it out on jamesg's recommendation here.
It REALLY took me a while to get over "Scully" talkin' all British though. Not sure if her accent got better over the course of the series or I just stopped being distracted by it.

A lot of the character surnames are guitar companies. Gibson, Burns, Breedlove, Hagstrom, Kay, Martin, Eastwood, Stagg etc, and there's a Professor Reed Smith.

Not at all. Someone would have to pay me a considerable amount up front to make me drink that stuff and if that did ever happen, the fact that someone was prepared to pay me a considerable amount just to drink something would probably be enough to make me suspect that all might not quite be as it seems.
