Overloud ReMatrix updated to v1.2.5

Hate it when they don't maintain the release news up to date... Will not update unless I can at least read about a potential issue that I may run into ...

I emailed OVERLOUD about the changes, the change log has now been updated. 1.1.18 -> 1.2.5 - User IRs can now be loaded directly from the Hard Drive without needing to import them.

Free Presets too Factory Classics Overloud and MoReVoX have released a new FREE preset bank for REmatrix, called Factory Classic. It contains 15 new presets with clean and transparect sounds, designed for music and mixing. Seems like a great feature, except I can't seem to get it to work.
You have to set your User IR folder in the preferences (otherwise the user browser shows just a blank folder). But while it will let me browse my IR wav files, every time I try and load one of them I get a File Not Found message in the slot where it should show the file name.
Perhaps it doesn't like Windows file paths with spaces? The same wav files can be imported using the Import IR, so I'm not sure the problem is the file itself.
If this does ever work I think it would mean 3rd party IR presets become practical. Which would be a huge win. I know I setup a couple using IR files I had but gave up given how much work it was to import the IR, setup the preset, etc.

OK so I ran Process Monitor and watched what it was doing. I have a WAV file R:\tmp\IRTest\1 Halls 06 Small & Near Quad.wav When I try and load it, Windows receives a request to load the file R:\tmp\IRTestC:\1 Halls 06 Small & Near Quad.wav Like they shoved an extra "C:\" right in the middle of the path. I don't have the energy to explain to them they once again have failed to test on Windows. Maybe someone else will do it.

So I did 3 miles on the treadmill and decided to send them a note, they replied that they have sent it to development. Since they have fixed problems before that I've submitted, there is hope. Unless I'm the only one on Windows that can't get this to work. Given all the strange things that has happened this week, I'm not sure I'd be surprised if it was just me.

The only thing we know is it doesn't work/exist in the player version (since it can't load any IRs). Cakewalk would have to release a new Solo (it's not a Overloud download) if they upgraded it to also support this browse mode. Assuming of course they make it work on Windows at all.

I like Rematrix but it has the unique status as the only software that I have that requires NOT running it in Admin mode to get it to authorize.
Perhaps this is another incidence of poor testing on Windows.

Just FYI, Overloud's support sent me access to a 1.26 version that fixes this problem. I'm not sure why they haven't released it to the public but it does exist. If you are having problems with this contact them and see if they will give it to you.
