Improving lyric writing

Sometimes the simplest message can have the longest lasting impression.

    Hi,

Aside from the insulting laugh track, this is funny.

I think that you have to be in an environment where you are allowed to do some weird/funny/strange things, so that stuff like this comes out.

I used to do dumb stuff in rehearsal ... like run a vacuum cleaner ... and it was somewhat designed to help teach the actors a stronger level of concentration in the work they were doing ... you still have to respond to it, but you don't have to break character ... can you imagine how George and Martha would handle that? Yeah!

The Muppets have a lot of weird stuff in music, and with many of their guests ... Peter Sellers doing a duet about the Gypsies (or something like that) was totally nuts, but it tells you that he really wanted to take them out of their comfort zone ... and that, I think, is the secret.

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Going back to the coincidences thread, I just had that scene running through my head yesterday for some reason!  Bizarre since I doubt I'd seen it for about 40 years...
