Melodyne Region effects don't respect metronome count in

on 2017.07, if I have a melodyne region effect on an audio track, and hit record with a 1-bar count in, the melodyne clip is 1-bar ahead of the rest of the music as that music commences after the count down. It appears as if the clip is playing silently for 1 measure, then is unmuted on the start of recording, but is then a bar ahead.
