Alice Cooper Live at the Whiskey A Go Go 1969:

I found a cassette of this in the bargain bin at the discount store I worked at as a stockboy when I was 17 yo. With my employee discount I think I paid a buck for it. I thought it would be unlistenable (and kinda is... lol) but because it was the Coop why the frack not?

I got home, plopped 'er in and fell in love with it. It's just so chaotic and nasty and loud and out of tune but at the same time extremely musical and emotive. I still have the tape which I just completely tormented with my incessant playing of it for years (and now it lives in my special collection that is so old and worn that I dare not touch them until I'm ready to digitize them... that is of course if someone has not already).

Unfortunately it seems even after all these years there isn't a full version of it up on youtube but it does have this which was running through my head and thought I'd drop a rando "Coop" thread out there...

Changing Arranging

And the only other one that readily pops up from the album...

edit: I'm glad I hunted this one. I always loved it but listening to it it's got almost the exact rhythmic bass/kick interplay I'm trying to draw out of my current adventure. Meant to be, yo.

Found another great one that isn't too offensive and likely applies to most of the users of this site (but particularly craigb... or maybe Moshie... or perhaps that was redundant? Nevertheless...)

    Hi,

Memories ... Babe Ruth and Iggy and the Stooges. On this night Janita Haan made Iggy look like an idiot from high school trying to get attention! He couldn't sing for crap either! Walked out half way his show!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

Welp... just got myself banned within 24 hours of showing up at one of my ooooold intertoob haunts for calling out some of the new breed of hateful trolls infesting the place... which the old school regulars who haven't just bailed have been forced to tolerate and keep their mouths shut about lest they suffer exactly my same fate.

Looks like I may have (partially) inspired them to start a huge backlash against the operators for their disrespect of the original community.

    Good.

In the meantime here is one of my favorite Conflict tunes.

No swears or nuthin' but I'm still gonna label in NSFW because... well it's pretty spazzy political type stuff.

I've opened up for these guys a couple times. Odd ensemble of lunatics but they certainly believe in something.
