    Oh, never mind.  I think I see the issue.  I bought this back in 2015 and MicroSoft basically made the features I wanted to use inoperable.  As a result I don't have and "active" account (why pay for something you can't use) so no way to email support.

    You could try to post your question in a new thread on these forums. Be sure to provide details about your system, etc , as appropriate. Best of luck

    Thanks Brando.  I did manage to sort out my issue (couldn't get sound to my new USB earphones) and can now proceed to learn a bit.  When I first upgraded I was trying to work around MicroSoft destroying sound fount usage and SoundBlaster not making any more driver updates.  Wound up getting a Claro Halo but that also had issues with Windows 10.  Enough time has passed and there are a few things that have given me hope that I can actually make use of this.  I'm still been using Cakewalk 3.0 on an XP machine and Sonar 6 on Windows 7.
