In Dallas Now
My granddaughter had to go to the emergency room in Dallas last nite. XX and myself hopped into my car and went to the hospital. The surgery was a success and she's going to be fine. It's Sunday and I'm still here. I'm being forced to go shopping probably all day! ALL DAY!

Busy week, much?Pray tell, how do you, less than 2 days after an operation, just pop in the car (and probably still on pain meds), and drive to Dallas? At least tell us that your XX drove. I've done some really weird things, but I'm not sure that I've done anything quite like that (then, again....). How many hours was the drive?
“Beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy” is attributed to Benjamin Franklin perhaps in error, but the thought remains a worthy sentiment nonetheless.

actually, this thread was started 3 days before the surgery thread. I think he had the surgery after he went back to Louisiana.
