Roko - In this Place

Hi all!
 
I have been following Roko's work for a while now and love the type of edgy electronica he creates. I connected with him via Soundcloud and over the past year or so we keep talking about doing a collaboration on a track but haven't found a way into it yet, so the other day I asked if I could do my version of one of his tracks. Working from just his original vocal, this was the result.

    So, the vocals are him, and the rest is you? If so, I think you did a great job with this. Very pro-sounding mix with excellent clarity.

    Thanks Dan,

    Yes, although I had all the tracks from his original version available I wanted to add my take on it so I just kept the vocal track and created everything else you hear around it.

    I like the laid back *chariots of fire* feel to the song.  I noticed that the voice recedes during the chorus, and/or it's over powered by the accompaniment.  Maybe this was intentional.  I' m listening on Tannoy speakers at low volume.  Overall it's a pleasant song, good luck with it.
