Plug in manager change?

There was a time when I could go into my plug in manager and label my izotope alloy vst 3, so when I went to insert the vst3 version of it, it was much easier to find.  Ive tried to label it multiple times the past month or so and splat does not recognize the name change as it used to.

For over a year now, also, every time I boot up sonar, it still shows that there is a database error in reading my registered plug ins... so that it may organize them better?   Id like to resolve these issues any suggestions?

removing/renaming %appdata%\Cakewalk\Library\Library.db then starting SONAR will re-initialize the database.
