Master Clock

Help for a newbie please.

Most of my synths have something called a "Master Clock."  I've read a bit about it, and the more I read, the more confused I get.  Can someone explain to me (in newbie terms) what this is, and how it integrates/effects/is used within Sonar?

Are you referring to Master Midi Clock?

If you are referring to the Master Midi Clock, it establishes what piece of gear in your midi chain will be the master that the rest follow (midi wise).

Look up the specs and manual for your particular synth to get more details on that particular piece of gear.

Midi clock is only if you use tempo driven stuff in your external synths like arpeggiators that is to run in sync with Sonar tempo.

Sonar sequence everything about midi cc controllers and notes for you.
