The Corner Pub
One day I clicked the forum menu to get to the coffee house and there was a 4th menu selection at the bottom after Techniques called the Corner Pub! I saw it for an instant. When I went back though the menus it was gone.
I recall seeing that selection at least one other time a long time ago, but now that I saw it again for a fleeting moment, I was wondering if anyone else has seen it and or what's up. Maybe that's where the forum hosts hang out. >:

yes, that's where the forum hosts hang out. non-hosts shouldn't be able to get into it or see it ,but I know some have seen it in the past because of a glitch in the ASP software.

The name Speakeasy rather than The Corner Pub might better reflect the secretive nature of the hangout (although Speakeasy implies some sort of illicit behavior) ... or possibly Cakewalk Temple after the Masons.

I had a look around once.
Hence my aversion to the whole concept of customers being appointed as forum hosts.
Especially if they abuse their unwarranted power and exhibit hypocrisy of the highest order ...

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for allowing certain 'trusted' individuals the ability to clear out the spam (for which I am truly thankful) and maybe move the odd thread to the correct forum.
But as far as I'm concerned, moderation (locking threads, banning members etc) should be the sole responsibility of Cakewalk employees. If they haven't got the time/money/resources to properly moderate their own forum, then maybe they should shut down the platform.

Queenie politely thanks our young, well intentioned Straummalamabingbong then promptly lashes out her prehensile tongue grasping the fine avian specimen firmly and devouring it whole in one gulp.
Stroomyboombaloombi, horrified at this loudly proclaims "Oh HELL noes!!! IT'S ON NOW, [REDACTED]!" as Queenie grins and replies "But Steve, you KNEW I was one of the Reptilian Illuminati" and cackles maniacally as her guards rush in to drag him away to the Tower of London.
