Sonar Platinum doesn't recognize MIDI data from MIDI controller

Hi, hoping someone can help with this. I have a Nektar LX49+ that was working fine until late yesterday. It had been working previously for months after loading using the Nektar PDF but stopped all of a sudden. I saw some message pop up in the MIDI In port but missed it. The controller works with other DAWS (Sampletank 3, Reason), is recognized in Sonar under preferences and checked as a controller, but regardless of what input choice I use with the soft synths, I can't play anything through it or record anything anymore. The synths play if I hit preview or use on screen keyboard if provided, but nothing using the controller. I have reinstalled the device driver after reloading the Nektar to factory settings and restarting the computer with no luck.  Any suggestions would be appreciated. Since it works elsewhere, I assume there is something in Sonar that has gotten impacted. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

*** Thanks everyone!!! All solved!!! I had reloaded the Nektar device driver and rebooted but it evidently required me to remove the controller from ACT and add it back. It worked once I did that. Appreciate the suggestions Jesse - that got me to consider the last step! ****

Is it Sonar Platinum or Sonar X3, those are two different versions of Sonar?

Check out the post from Sonar user "phlosten" about his Nektar, you may need to send him a private message.

Also, read this information from Nektar about setting up the keyboard with Sonar.
Here is their PDF walk through guide for setting up Nektar with Sonar.

    I hope this helps.

Thanks Jesse, and sorry for  any confusion. Sonar Platinum, and it had been working fine for months using the load instructions you mentioned. (I updated my details above). It just went south unexpectedly last night for unknown reason. Tried to reload everything but no change so far. Thank you for the recommendation though! Have a blessed day.

    No problem BigSully,

If you can, message Phlosten about how he solved his problem.
