Should I reinstall?

Hello everyone. Since I have Sonar Professional installed, I can not record more than one track correctly. Sometimes, it is difficult to endure 3 minutes, but in general, not even that. Not to mention recording two tracks simultaneously.
For some time I have been opening topics where I ask for help, in this forum and in others, and until now I have not been able to solve the problem. I got to switch to the firewall port. I've touched and changed a thousand things I always assumed it's because of the audio card, or my PC, but today I had an unexpected surprise:
Because I purchased a Roli driver, and to take advantage of it I had to download a DAW called Bitwig. For testing, I set to record and record audio tracks, test after test, each time with more tracks and longer duration and everything came out perfect (!!).
For me it is a nightmare to leave Sonar, I am very used to it. I miss him! I want it to work as well as the Bitwig; And if I'm right, I should reinstall it, right?
When doing so, would I have to re-download the VSTs I've already downloaded?
Or should we try something different?
I gladly accept any advice or suggestion. A cordial greeting and many thanks in advance for any help!
PS: my language is Spanish, so to write this, I have turned to the Google translator. I clarify it by possible inconsistencies of the content.

I'm not sure I've seen your other threads, And I assume your trying to use an on board audio chipset.

You can use on board sound for midi files and even using pre recorded loops etc, but there's never going to be the same stability you get when you pair Sonar with a good audio interface. Sure other audio software programs will run without issue but our beloved Sonar is a complicated program and we forgive it for demanding we use top quality audio drivers, that's just the way it is.

The majority of us have no problems day in and day out and that's because we follow these basic rules.

A well tuned, well set up computer that has the power,RAM and fast hard drives needed for audio.
Keep that machine off the internet if your having problems
Run Latency Monitor to fine tune background issues.
Keep window versions up to date
    Keep Sonar up to date
Use a proper audio interface and install the latest drivers that are made for your OS
Do overdo things. Keep it simple at first until your running smoothly.
Back everything up to a second drive.

Very grateful for your comment Cactus Music!
I consider to have fulfilled those requirements, for that reason I asked by the instance that it refers to to reinstall, if I have to have some special care. Greetings and thanks again!

Hi. If you used CCC to install SONAR, just do a rollback, and then update again.
    It is done within minutes.
    Could be worth checking, perhaps.
    All the best.

Well, I finally reinstalled Sonar and found much better results than I had. Recording 8 tracks for 15 minutes, I detected a couple of flaws from the 13th minute. I imagine it should not happen, but compared to what happened to me it's a miracle!
I'll keep trying. Thanks for the help!

I write to comment that I still have the same problem. I can not record cleanly and correctly. So having reinstalled the Sonar was a vain attempt.
What I can not accept is that I can do it with Biwig and not with Sonar, as I said before.
A greeting and thanks for the help attempts received.

just a few questions to clarify things:
What are the specifications of your computer?
    How much RAM?
    What operating system?
What audio interface are you using?
How long have you had SONAR on this computer?
Did SONAR ever work correctly on this computer in the past?

When I have encountered major problems I would often do a system restore to see if that would solve things.

I agree with Jude as one should either have their signature filled or begin their opening post with:
    ""My Specs are""...

-PC description (RAM, Chipset if possible)
    -Onboard graphics or Video card
    -Version of Sonar
    -Version of Windows
    -Audio interface
    The more info the better.

Not only Specs but what are you having problems with Audio, midi or both ?
Sometimes it can be as simple as a VST plug in not playing nicely with sonar.

Bitwig is LoFi on graphics, Sonar uses open GL and has some pretty high res Graphics.
    This might explain the obvious.

Not yet a year ago I have the program installed. When I wanted to use it thoroughly, I did not get good results. That's why I do short projects and with few clues. The minimum.
The processor is AMD Phenom (tm) II X2 550
    And the mother: M4A785TD-V E
    Windows 10 64b
    Sonar Professional 64b
    Focusrite Saffire 56 Liquid
    8Gb of Ram
ATI Radeon HD 5400 Series is the video card.
    FireWire Port: Texas Instruments XIO2213B
Maybe it's time to change my PC.
    Thank you!!

I occasionally have problems with midi, and I exposed them opportunely:

you're sorry, but I've been looking at the processor that requires Sonar and mine is at a much lower level ... Or am I wrong?
