EMU 1820M SOUNDCARD? ANYGOOD

Has anyone tried the EMU 1820M sound card. The specs make you drool.

    I would suggest you use the search feature and you'll get plenty of input on the 1820m! (...I have posted several messages myself!)

    sounds great, replaced and aardvark q10 while it was away for repairs. I sold the Q10 to a friend, the EMU was noticeably better sounding.
    But there are caveotes. Research it well.
    Mostly DownLoad and Read the manual from end to end.

    The hardware is great, the promise of the system is great,now if only the drivers would catch up it would be fantastic. I've had mine about 5 months overall I'm pleased..........................JDW
