When I was a kid I desperately wanted an early 70's ragtop Mustang.

Now I want a non-descript white panel van with a wheelchair lift and enough room left over in the back to toss down a futon matress so I can sleep in it if need be.

    Also... Hi, John.

Since I'm not actually paralyzed I wouldn't need a vehicle where the driver's seat is removed like that but once I get where I'm going I need the chair (getting a little more ambulatory though... just still pretty dicey/dangerous if I were to walk around).

Also I've become much more practical/pragmatic in my vehicle desires. If I had something I could go herd up my friends/bandmates and their gear/general crud and have a roomy, comfy safe place to crash (windowless cargo area) when I get bored of the drunks at the after party I could get back to some of mmy live shenanigans.

For just getting around though something like this would be great...

But... it would have be a little bigger because I'm wicked tall and my e-chair is yooooge.

Also I would likely need a lift as opposed to a ramp. Those long ramps are cool and less expensive but need to be pulled in and out/set up and I can't do that (can bend over or put too much strain on my spine/legs/etc).

We're talking a minimum of $30,000+ for something that would give me actual independance/freedom of movement and that sure as frack ain't happenin' any time soon.

    Very frustrating.

And ya, if I had like a zillionety dollars and wanted to unleash my inner biker I'd likely get a beeznotch trike.

Proper hogs would absolutely be out of the question. I'd be dropping even the lightest bikes all over the place.

    Just call me "Piney".
