What the heck is the deal with Z3TA+2's arp timing?

I feel like a bit of a dumbass for asking something so basic, especially since I've used this synth for years, but what is the deal witht the sync timing on this arp? For example, I'm working on a song that's 120bpm and I just set the arp to 1/8th triplets, and it quite honestly sounds like Flight Of The Bumblebee on crack. So that is clearly not 1/8 triplets at 120bpm. Experimenting, I find that setting it to 1/2 notes results in an output of 1/8th notes. What the frig?

    Yes I get the same thing. I think they are using 1 to mean 1 beat rather than 1 bar.

    So setting sync to:-

    1 = 1 quarter note
    1/2 = 1 eighth note
    1/4 = 1 16th note
    1/8 = 1 32nd note

    etc.

    Is that something from the latest update? (no, not the bumblebee) using 1 beat rather than 1 bar?

    Hmm one beat = one bar would make sense. I'll have to noodle with that. But how confusing could they make it? I really hate when companies veer away from accepted norms just to...well...I can't even think why they'd do it.

    It's been a source of confusion with me ever since I started using Z3TA+2 in 2012 or so.
