Does This Kind of Virtual Controller Software Exist...

OK so in my endless quest to find an easier way to deal with Kontakt keyswitches other than committing them all to memory for all my dozens of libraries, I had this idea... But in order for it to work I need to know if this software exists...

IDEALLY an Android based (but hell I'd get an iPad if I needed if it's only iOS based, and then worst case would be a Windows based that I'd use with my mouse in one hand) on screen virtual midi controller...

Then on one hand on my keyboard I could be playing notes, and on the other hand on the Android tablet / iPad / my mouse, be tapping on the keys that correspond to keyswitches.

NOW the real ideal situation is if the keys on this virtual controller (and they could be set up like pads, doesn't have to be setup like a virtual midi keyboard) could be labeled, so I could setup presets and say for example, I don't know, Electri6ity I could set up a preset for it in this virtual controller, load up Electri6ity in Sonar, load up its corresponding preset in the virtual controller and I'd have an easy, visual representation of which keys to push in real time to change articulations while I play.

This is all probably way overthinking everything but I swear I can look at which key switch from say open chords to palm mutes, hit record, then forget which key it was, all in the matter of seconds haha. Keyswitches are the death of me.

Lemur can be used to build basically any kind of a controller you need:

You just need an OS or Android tablet (or phone).

There is also TouchOSC (also support OSC and MIDI, has own bridge). I guess Lemur is more mature, but it is good to have an alternative.

Or, you could go all in to the NI ecosystem and get a Komplete Kontrol keyboard. The keyswitches in nks-compatible libraries are lit up on the keyboard so you know where they are.

Lemur is... Insane...Wow... It could definitely be what I need. Especially with this Composer Tools Pro add-on I found. There's also an app for iPad I found last night called Keyswitch that does exactly what I want and only that... Wow, I might need to buy a damn iPad haha.

I've looked at touchOSC before and it's just too confusing for me and seems to be more focused on transport/mixing controls. And as for the Komplete Kontrol keyboards I know they light up the Keyswitches but they still don't tell you what each one is..

Thanks guys. When I get home from this trip I'm gonna start really researching the crap out of lemur and composer tools pro.

When you create your own layout, you can add "buttons" and specify they should send Notes you need for key switching. Then you just add "labels" on top, to document the switch name. You can have several "tabs" for different instruments. I guess it is the same as with Lemur.
Note that I do not try to convince to use TouchOSC over Lemur, Lemur is in my "to have" list as probably more powerful tool
