Time Ruler Not Responding to touch anymore?

Hello,

So in Sonar X3 and also when Platinum first came out, if using a touch screen you were able to touch the TIME RULER and Now Time would jump to where you would touch. Our you could drag a finger on the Time Ruler and it would highlight a part that you could LOOP. Now after all updates the Time Ruler doesn't respond to touch at all. Am I missing something?

Thanks

I also noticed this. It happened as soon as they brought out the updates for the MS touchpen. I used to use that feature a lot on my touchscreen.
And now with the latest update I noticed that when you scroll or zoom out with touch it goes back passed the first measure and the timeline disappears.

Yes w.joyce I think you are right with the updates.

I also used this alot. Scrolling through the project then just touching the time ruler to where playback would start.
I also notice that when you scroll or zoom out with touch it kind of messes up the view and time ruler. It shows it is somewhere past the 1st measure yes.

What do you think we shall do? I really liked it when it worked. Could be a glitch?

The only thing we can do is wait for them to fix it lol. And hope they have some better touch updates in the future.

Yep like when in Console View you could touch a track and then it would become the selected track like it does with a mouse. So that way you could pro channel docked on the side in the in the Inspector, touch a track and pro channel in the inspector would focus on that new selected track that was just touched. Something like this does happen when you have the prochannel of a track open inside the console view and you touch EQ then it does become the selected track but then the inspector automatically shows track. Then you expand prochannel in another track, touch the eq and it becomes selected track. But the thing is that you shouldnt have to expand the pro channel. Just touch a track and the inspector to change to that track. That would be great too.

Yeah it would be good. There is lots of other touch features they could take advantage of like being able to remove plugins from the effects bin you can add them by touching the little + button but not delete them. And being able to move clips and edit them would be awesome. I'm sure they will do more in the future. I've been very happy with cakewalks progress since I first brought it at x1.
