Barline mismatch

I inserted notes using the staff view.  It was a simple passage that involved whole notes in legato.  That is all notes began and ended on xx:01:000.  However, when I checked the Piano roll view I saw this throughout the track:

As you can see the vertical bar lines in Piano Roll don't appear to be on the beat.  In fact, all notes appear to begin and end at XX:01:120.  This means that either the vertical bar lines are wrong or the ruler is and makes further work really complicated.  Is there a way to fix this so that the bar lines match the beginning and ending of bars?

Thank you.

I can reproduce the bar line mismatch on my system using Horizontal Mousewheel zoom (Ctrl-Alt-Mousewheel), but the mismatch corrects itself as soon as I click inside the PRV.

The mismatch does not occur when using the zoom control at the bottom right corner of the PRV.

The attached video of SONAR Platinum [2017.08] x64 demonstrates the issue.

    Hope this helps,

No Greg.  4/4.  And, thanks for that Ron.  The issue seems to come from the fact that I am manually copying an orchestral score I wrote years ago from paper to Cakewalk using staff view.  I don't play piano well enough (nor do I own one) to input some of the more difficult instrument parts and so I selected the settings in "view" while in staff view to enable me to get each note in with the minimum of "undos" in Edit.

However, during the tidying up stage in Piano roll I discovered that notes were overlapping, not starting on the beat, etc.  These are problems I can rectify but only if the body of Piano Roll with its bars and notes correspond to the ruler.  What I am facing now is not knowing which is accurate.  When I hit "play" I find that the situation improves with the 120 tick discrepancy being reduced to around 30 ticks but really this is a bug.  Whatever the view settings or the zoom level, the ruler should always accurately reflect the body of Piano Roll.  There is no reason for an inaccurate ruler.

Judging from the lack of responses I can only conclude that this issue is restricted to me.  I have discovered that in Piano Roll the inaccuracies can be partially rectified by hitting the horizontal zoom button to zoom out and then to zoom back in and this aligns the vertical grid to the xx:01:000 point although sometimes I have to make do with a 30 tick discrepancy.  So, is this a bug with my installation because I cannot believe that such a failure would be tolerated by the Sonar community?  Anyone?
