Enable MIDI Output is greyed out

The option is not available to me , why  ?
 
Trying to use a VST called Chordz to play an instrument Lounge lizard piano . but cant get past the first part as that option is greyed out

    I downloaded it and installed and it worked for me on Sonar Platinum 2017.8 Build 30 64bit on a fully patched Windows 10 Pro 64bit.

    I'm assuming it's this http://www.codefn42.com/chordz/index.html

    Can you provide more information?

    Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram . 
    PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
    CPU: i5 4670. 
    Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
    Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

    Internet always on.

    Software    : Cakewalk by Bandlab (2018.09 B29)
    ASIO mode. 24bit 48khz 256 samples
