Bold title, but pretty accurate?

Was browsing through the Canadian artist list in another thread when I saw this video on the side.  "Best?"  Well, let's hear what they thought was so good.  Heh, it was worth it!

Who needs more than three band members?  (Answer: Most other groups!)

I didn't think that Sting was that short.

And I heard he really put the time in on extra curricular activities too.

That recording is awesome. They've captured the massiveness of the live sound brilliantly, and the band plays...wow.
And when the vocals come in....Yes and Rush are the two magnificent groups that I practically never listen, because the vocals turn me off.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

My friend and I used to belong to this odd record club when we were in high school.  For a very low amount, they would send 50 "clipped" records.  This meant that these albums had been designated for the discount bin and (usually) wouldn't be pressed again.  We had fun listening to each to see why it had been clipped and, most of the time, we'd hear great music - until the vocals started!

That said, I sure don't have any problems with Geddy's vocals or YES' (LaBrie from Dream Theater maybe!).

Rush had something extra, like magic.  Maybe geddys a witch like Stevie nicks.? Before y9u ask who cares? (A rhetorical question) the Force was with them. That's undeniable.

That was awesome. About as tight as a band can get. Precision..... BTW, I also agree about Dream Theater's vocalist. The band is great, though.
