Each new individual track I record get shifted forward just a touch

Each new individual track I record gets shifted just a bit forward.
 
This never happened before.
 
What happened?

    I've seen this happen with loop recording.  It's a very old bug that I first noticed in X2.

    The problem was when looping and punching in. Each successive "punch" got later and later; not the same thing.
    Are you using ASIO driver?
    Did you check "use reported latency" in preferences?
