MIDI drumroll editing in SONAR tutorials / an example as easy as this , done in pro tools

The never ending pain of editing a drum track to PERFECTLY match your guitar/keyboard/song parts rolls on....One thing, because I have used SONAR a bit sparsely in recent years, I have noticed with updated versions that I now do not know how to navigate key things, like ease of use things when editing individual grouped notes or velocity or grabbing the wrong lasso, star or whatever tool and getting frustrated that way and much much more because of changes/additions/new ways of doing things that newer versions brings. So is there a good CURRENT tutorial on how to really dive into the piano roll/MIDI drums view to edit notes/velocities...AND...maybe it's just me, but I don't remember SONAR/CAKEWALK ever being as easy to manipulate notes (for example, dragging a note in the velocity view and HEARING the changes in velocity as you drage the note up or down in velocity, overall responsiveness of realtime moves and clarity of the view as you shrink/expand notes) like this from this excellent clip below using Protools.

"Velocity Audition" under Customization - Editing (Advanced) MIDI...

That feature has been in Sonar forever. There's a learning curve to find switches and features : just like any software.
