Auto Pan
Do we have a tool that will slowly move a track left to right and back again? I can automate this but it is a pain. I know this is a cheesy trick, but a particular track needs this.I don't want to go extreme R to L (although maybe someday I will). I just want a sound to float around center a little so it is not right on top of something else. THANKS.

I second Pancake. It has a several presets and is easily manipulated. I think it's what you're looking for.

I use Wave's Brauer Motion plug. It does more than autopan, but it does autopan very well :)

I all the time I draw in panning automation. I just did it yesterday. Sometimes I pan farther out when the track is quieter and stay closer to Center when it's louder. Other times I just automate variance using the draw tool, setting the time frame to like measure. Hold down ctrl to double it... then draw it out. You can grab the set of automation and squish it against the ceiling and floor to flatten it. You can move it right and left to align it with the beats you want to accentuate. I really wouldn't consider using some other tool to automate panning.

StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

I always use the Sonitus Surround Panner as well. It works great. I usually chose the preset L-R-L, and change the path time to correspond with how fast or slow I want it to pan back and forth.

There's an Auto-Panner in the 30th Anniversary Modulator FX Chains (2017.06 update). Speaking of the Sonitus Surround...it also makes a great vibrato. It's the basis of the Vibrato+Tremolo FX Chain in the Anderton Collection.
