Kontakt 5.7.0 No longer installs 8out, 16out? older projects using Kont in Rack r Denied
So upon checking older projects, 8 and 16 out used in the rack won't load thanks to kont 5.7.0 only putting in the 64 bit Kont 5.dll
and this is because... ? Did I do this somehow??
Also do i need / want 32 bit Kontakt for any reason?

AFAIK Kontakt is still installing all three variants. I just had a look, and not only do I have all three but they also all have the same datestamp and internal version number (5.7.0.32). Perhaps your problem isn't that they're gone but rather installed in an unexpected place. Have a look in \program files\native instruments and see if they're there. If so, add that path to SONAR's can paths and rescan.
No, there is no reason to keep the 32-bit version UNLESS you have old projects with a lot of 32-bit plugins or 32-bit plugins that don't bridge well. But if you've gone 100% 64-bit, you don't need the 32-bit version.

Well, I found the older 8 out and 16 out, I added the file directory, did a manual rescan, BUT the projects that open using the 64 out or "kont 5.dll" are the OLDER 5.6.8 r25!!!, this is after 5.7 WAS working, wait it gets worse...
8 out and 16 out in the synth rack STILL wont open and
neither Service center or Native Access will add the missing 8out 16out 5.7 or update Kontakt at all as it installed the 5.7 stand alone, the 5.7 Kont 5.dll which is NOT getting loaded after adding that file path. This is after a restart and several testings of older projects for 8 out 16 out as well as new stuff seeing if its 5.7 or 5.6.8 AND checking NI access and service center...
Should I uninstall KONTAKT 5, and all its many file paths? and then reinstall???

By "kont 5.dll" do you mean "Kontakt 5.dll"?
In the folder where Kontakt 5.dll was found, do you not also have "Kontakt 5 8out.dll" and "Kontakt 5 16out.dll"? The installer would not have deleted them, which is why I suggested they may be located somewhere other than where you expected to find them. Try opening a command prompt and running the following commands:
C:
CD \
DIR Kont*.dll /s > junk.txt & notepad junk.txt
In your older projects, is it possible they referenced Kontakt 4?
BTW, you probably already know this but the 8- and 16-out variants aren't actually needed anymore and are just kept around for compatibility and convenience. Of course, that's a moot point if you're trying to open an old project that references them. Just thought I'd mention that their absence won't prevent you from using Kontakt going forward.

This pc never had 4, I've found the 8 and 16 out vers of 5.6.8, they will actually load, so no more SPlat error message, but they wont play!
I am guilty of copying Kont dll's and/or dragging them awhile back to get MidiCulous running which it did, separately form SPlat of course.
5.6.8 will load and play in the 64 out version of newer projects... BUT NI Access and Service center will NOT update the older 8/16 out, both NI ACCESS and Service center are current versions.
Now the stand alone 5.7.0 Will not see my keyboard or make sound merely clicking on its GUI.
Man I dug a deep midi pit 4 myself ;(
Should I uninstall Kont 5 from NI side (if so how does one do that?) or From Win10??
Last question... I have AAX versions of NI, which i never use, how do i get rid of that??

Ok, used win10 to delete ONLY kont 5, not the 23 gig library, and IT WORKED!!!
I manually removed the AVID file and all other instances of the dll's
I had to configure it a bit and then it came around, everything plays now...
So once i picked the E drive to load stuff... Never copy or drag the dll's ANYWHERE
LESSON LEARNT
Funny things tho, NY grand got replaced by ALICIA KEYS ONE TIME AND THE GIANT ANOTHER TIME
2 TUNES SAID "ABBEY ROAD 60'S NOT ON THIS COMPUTER" i WENT AND LOADED IT, IT PLAYED AND RESAVED IT.
I will see how these load tomorrow.
