    Hiya Doug,

I had a listen to A Different Story to Tell and I thought that it was a pretty good piece, so I let the SoundClick player carry on and got down to Ride before I decided I need to crack on with other "stuff."

    Very listenable indeed

The recording sounds a little distant, but that added a bit of a live feel, so maybe that's what you were after. Nice harmonies.

Your voice has a quality to it that could cut through the miasma of crap and become popular.
Of course, in my mind it's 1988 so you might find some grains of salt somewhere whith which to take that :)

When your vocals double, with bgv, it's very effective!

For me the drums are reverbed like a parking garage, while the vocals aren't so that's a disconnect.

I listened to track one, which was cool, but the guitar work and placement in track 2 was really quite a treat to listen to.

    thanks for the share!

    -Tom

emeraldsoul - thanks for listening.  For the two acoustic guitar tracks, I used a Studio Projects B1 and a AT2020.  I sang the lead vocal with a Rode NT1-A.

I enjoyed listening to this song and also let it progress through a couple of your tunes. Very nice production on the ones I listened to.
