Pitch clip ? NOT timestretch

I have searched and searched on how to do a simple pitch on a clip, and all says something with timestretch, melodyne etc - i just want a simple pitch and in cents, and i do NOT want to loop or slice the clip

IS that simple thing possible in sonar pro ?

The great tracktion waveform does that with 2 clicks...but i want to do an new try on sonar pro

Melodyne does pitch shifting without time stretching.

Sonar has a command to transpose audio un Process | Transpose.  Check the audio box.

It doesn't do cents, though. For cents you have to do the variable tape speed trick and then stretch back to the original length if you want to preserve duration. It's actually easier done than said. I use this technique all the time on background vocals.

You should go through the basic tutorials. It's difficult to switch Daw software when you're used to another softwares' commands and reference language. You can rest assured that sonar does just about anything you would wish to do with audio and midi and certainly about everything any other DAW can do. The language and specific steps to get what you want are unique to each DAW.

I can't remember the details but I think what you need to search for is "scrub" or "scrubbing".

    To scrub a single track
Hold down the J key to temporarily enable Scrub mode and drag over the track.

    To scrub all displayed tracks
Hold down the J key to temporarily enable Scrub mode and drag in the Time Ruler.

    No problem man.

Ya Groove 3 have some great videos, however they haven't made one for platinum in a couple years.
I would like to see a new one.

´just noticed that there IS a real transpose in sonar (which i was looking for :-) )
dubbelclick on clip, select Loop - No Slice - Pitch

But the waveform view in the clip doesnt follow after that, i tried to erase the *tr2 with no luck, i will try to bounce the track
