Write Automation: Insert Node at Selection not working.

Hello my fellow Sonarians!

So working on a single track, I enabled Write Automation, lets say on a Volume.
I press play and and move the fader/volume control and Sonar writes the movement by inserting nodes to represent the volume changes which I just performed.

I usually do this as a starting point, then manually insert additional nodes to meet my requirements.

The problem is if I right click on the Automated Line, there is an option: Add Node to selection. If I click the add node. nothing happens, no Node is added.

There are instances where the node gets added but buried under Previous Node, the newly added node becomes visible by dragging the current node to the left or right to expose additional nodes.

However, this is not happening and I am unable to add nodes.

Any idea what's going on here?
