Unexpected changes in BPM halfway through timeline.

Okay, say I'm adding drum patterns to a new project.  I set the project tempo to the suggested tempo of a drum pattern (a group of patterns in a song, that's part of a MIDI pack with Toontrack drums).  I change the project tempo to, say, 100 bpm and lay down all the drum patterns of that song group (verse, chorus, bridge, etc).   But I realize about halfway through the new project, the time signature changes back to Sonar's default 120 bpm.  I'll go to the end of the song and change the changed tempo from 120 to the 100 bpm to match the first part of the song.

This has been happening quite often lately.  Anyone else experiencing this issue.   Is it a bug, or something I'm overlooking?

Thanks!

I have been having similar issues but different setup, mine is a bit simple.
Lets say I have a song and I decide to play another instrument but using a slower BPM to get better timing.

For some reason Sonar will switch back to the previous tempo in the middle of my performance.

This may be normal operation but I am confused because if I change the tempo of a song, whey does it go back? The way I solved this was to remove all instance of the project tempo and than add a new one.

May not be related but similar issue.

How did you remove all instances of the project tempo?
