Is there a way to create a project...

hello all!

Is there a way to create a project without an audio and midi track starting?

I know if you press H you can go to the track manager, but was wondering if there's a setting to always have a project start up with the standard two tracks..?

thanks for your patience's!

You want two audio tracks only at start up?
Go File,New and select Blank Project.
Now add tracks that you want to see at startup and save it as a template.

Then you can open that template instead.
Know that if you save your template as one of the cakewalk template names though,
all your work will be overwritten by an update so best to name it something like mytemplate.

You can create project how you want all new projects to be create and then select 'Save As' and then select 'Template' as the 'Save as Type'.  Once saved in the 'Start Screen' select the star at the top left to make it the default template.
