New FREE plugin from Melda: MSpectralPan
Still in beta (but seems to work fine), and can be downloaded now as part of the 11.08 beta pack. This is a good one you're gonna want to have. What is a spectral panner? It lets you pan different frequencies independently. This one lets you draw a freeform pan map over a spectral display or sonogram. Use it for widening stereo tracks. I'm guessing there will be a paid version of it later, probably adding modulation.

There doesn't appear to be any info to check on this plugin yet. Here is the link to the download page:- https://www.meldaproduction.com/download/plugins Melda provide a "universal installer" and you will find the beta software in there somewhere. I have yet to download it myself.

There is no product page for it yet, as it hasn't been released. But it's part of the free bundle, so download that and look for MSpectralPan in the list.

I paid list price for the Free Bundle license, and I thought it was really good bang for the buck at the time. They've since added a couple of new plugins. This latest one is almost worth the price of admission on its own. Yes, I bought the upgrade for the free bundle as well. MUtility has become possibly my most-often-used plug-in. If you wait for a sale (happens several times a year), MFreeFXBundle can be had for half-off, which for me made it a no-brainer.

I just downloaded it and took a quick look at the manual as well. This thing already has modulation: four modulators and a ton of multi-parameters as well. This is one hell of a nice freebie! Edit: I should add that unless you buy the commercial-version upgrade you are not able to save presets, which makes the availability of modulators and multi-parameters much less convenient. But it's still a very nice freebie even without preset save.

I got the upgrade for the free bundle a few years ago and I agree its worth it. The saving feature by itself is worth it.

Right you are, David. I didn't see them because I had the metering pane closed, and the modulators are on the metering pane. However, if you want to configure the modulators you'll need the paid version of the free pack.
