Without the rest of the instruments, these actually sound alright. 
 
 
I'm still not buying them, but at least they don't have kick drum on every 32nd note of every measure.
 
 
Metal Month is not my favorite Toontrack event, in case you couldn't tell.    I do like to repurpose the metal guitar tones in the EZMIx packs, though.
