Adaptive Limiter??

Hello people,

Just a little question about the Adaptive Limiter. Personally I find the plugin very very trustworthy, accurate and in general one of the best limiters I've used.

Is it just me or do other feel the same?

If it is on your machine, the plug-in will be installed in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Adaptive Limiter" and the support files will be under "Cakewalk Content\Adaptive Limiter."

The location in the plug-in menu depends on the layout.

It is not in any of these places. How can I get it?

If you type "B" you should get a browser pop up. In that pop up is an FX bin. Under Cakewalk you should see it if you have a recent version of Sonar. Alternately you can click the add FX button on a track and see those FX....or you should.

I think a more important question is...What version are you running ?
If you are running an older version of Sonar than the plug in will not be there. it was new to  2017.05

I like the Adaptive Limiter and use it a lot . . . I just wish I felt like I paid more for it !
It seems it just came "free" with my lifetime updates.
I haven't been sending Cakewalk much money since my lifetime updates, and that kind of worries me for the future.
Maybe it's just me, but I'm starting to feel guilty for enjoying the Adaptive Limiter too much ?

Well if it will make you feel better you can send me a hundred bucks

I do agree with you on both the fact about worrying about the future and how useful Adaptive Limiter is on my tracks.

The reason people say the vinyl sounds better is because the music was better.
