I know you do some nice sounding textures using effects which is great too. Granite is one serious granular synth. It can turn a single tabla hit into a mind blowing stereophonic ambient soundscape! Sound Guru's Mangle can also do it too. Iris 2 is also not bad at this as well. I am currently relying on Melda's MGranularMB and Guitar Rig for all my granular duties.
