Hey Andy do you use New Sonic Arts Granite by any chance.  I know you do some nice sounding textures using effects which is great too.  Granite is one serious granular synth.  It can turn a single tabla hit into a mind blowing stereophonic ambient soundscape! Sound Guru's Mangle can also do it too. Iris 2 is also not bad at this as well.

Specs i5-2500K 3.5 Ghz - 8 Gb RAM - Win 7 64 bit - ATI Radeon HD6900 Series - RME PCI HDSP9632 - Steinberg Midex 8 Midi interface - Faderport 8- Studio One V4 - iMac 2.5Ghz Core i5 - Sierra 10.12.6 - Focusrite Clarett thunderbolt interface

Hi Jeff,

No, not ventured into Granite or Mangle yet but it is only a matter of time. I am currently relying on Melda's MGranularMB and Guitar Rig for all my granular duties.

I do have Iris 2 though and use it a lot for sample manipulation.

cheers,

andy

Thanks Craig

First of all I just ran your stems through some basic effects, just to fatten things up a little:-

But then things started to get really interesting as I brought in the big guns:-

I thought your favourite might be this version, though:-

Let me know what you think

Stems are lost for now (some in storage but many really are now lost - hard drive crash several years ago and a bad backup medium...).

Just to see how talented you are, here's a sample I made to loop many years ago: http://www.nwdreamer.com/download/140%20-%20Song%20002%20section.wav

So, who/what is nwdreamer.com? That your domain? This clip yours? Not that it should matter as I doubt you would be able to tell that the clip was used

Well, due to some unwanted resonance in the effects stages the final signal was a bit hot, hence the charred look...
