X3 Producer owner, any way to get the Platinum updates?

X3 Producer owner, any way to get the Platinum updates?

Sad news.  I was a CWPA6 user and have been with X3 past few years.
 
I didn't upgrade to Platinum, is there any way to get the remainder of the updates?  Also, I downloaded X3 several years ago from the website.  Should I be downloading and saving all my products so I can install them in the future?
 
This kinda sucks for Platinum lifetime owners, but really what else do any of us need?   X3 has been working great and I can't see myself buying another sequencer in the next 5-10 years.
 
My opinion is that Gibson purchased Cakewalk, knowing full well they would squeeze every last drop out of the product line (lifetime updates pretty much ensured the majority of users bought Platinum over past couple years), gain the IP, and be able to retain some of the staff/talent to use in on other projects (if they don't all bail).
 
Dont be surprised if some Gibson/Phillips venture releases a new sequencer with the Cakewalk code base.. leaving all the free lifetime update people angry.

    Your question has been answered in many threads here but I'll repeat it. 
     
    There is no more Cakewalk store so that's the end of purchasing Sonar. 
     
    You should have downloaded all your products  and stored them to 3 different places a long time ago. 
    All you need is those files and make a notepad with you serial and activation codes too. \Some do sceenshots. 
    X3 will work until there is a conflict with a new OS. If you build a DAW right now and never upgrade your OS you could foreseeabley get 10 year out of it.
